Senior Database Administrator with a minimum of 7 years of experience, particularly in Microsoft SQL Server and cloud-based technologies. This role is ideal for someone with advanced database development expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Managed Instances.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize databases.
Build and maintain ETL processes with SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
Conduct performance tuning and query optimization using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Develops, orchestrates, and leads database migration strategy to the cloud (Azure).
Craft complex packages, stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints, etc.
Collaborate on database architecture for both on-premises and cloud solutions.
Support database operations, including backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure and on-premises SQL environments.
Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide reporting support with analytics tools like Power BI.
Required Skills:
7+ years of SQL Server and Azure database experience.
Advanced T-SQL and query optimization.
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
Experience in Power BI, DevOps practices, and high availability solutions.
